Writer/director/producer Tom Smith has worked on over 60 films. After George Lucas screened Smith’s film, Solar System, Smith was hired to manage the visual effects for Raiders of the Lost Ark, E.T., Poltergeist, Star Trek II & III, Return of the Jedi, and Indian Jones and the Temple of Doom. He went on to receive a British Academy Award for his visual effects work on Honey I Shrunk the Kids, and has received acknowledgment for his work on 3-D Disney rides (AFANA).
